Effect of a novel analgesic on diabetic-related pain (peripheral neuropathy)

 

  • Do you experience pain in your legs, feet, arms, fingers?
  • Do you have pain that is associated with sensations of “pins and needles”, prickling, electric shocks, burning or stabbing pain or numbness?

If you answered “YES” to either question you could be a candidate for our Diabetic Pain Clinical Trial.

Diabetic Pain Clinical Trial Details

The product used in the Diabetic Pain Clinical Trial is Palmidrol (PEA), a TGA approved listed medicine. We are assessing the effect of PEA on diabetes-related nerve pain over 12 weeks.

This study may help you if your nerve pain is affecting your daily activities and sleep and is difficult to control without medications. It may also help you if you are looking for alternative medications to use to manage your pain.

The study has been approved by an accredited Research and Human Ethics Committee in accordance with the National Statement on Ethical Conduct in Human Research.
